I am currently working to identify and refine my research interests within the field of learning, design, and technology. As I progress, I continue to gain experience and an appreciation for the various facets of our field. For future work, I am considering an examination of how theoretical understanding impacts the fidelity of instructional implementations.

Teaching

Teaching Philosophy After spending so many years across such a wide swath of my life engaged in learning, I have come to appreciate the sheer diversity present in today’s college students, the extensive changes in what these students have experienced in regard to instructional approaches and preparatory programs, and the wide variation in learners’ motivations
